HDRpad's interface is fairly Crystal Report Viewer as image editing tools go, with a basic toolbar containing the usual file, zoom, navigation, and help buttons, plus a few extra ones related to the Crystal Report Viewer fusion and contrast enhancement controls. However, this interface has what may be the clunkiest Crystal Report Viewer behavior we've seen in a long time. The chief problem is that it seems to be limited to a full-screen view. Whenever we tried to resize the window, it minimized to the toolbar. Unfortunately, Crystal Report Viewer its toolbar icon didn't reopen the window. We had to right-click the toolbar icon, select the program, right-click a pop-up, select the program again, and then Crystal Report Viewer Maximize just to restore the interface at all, let alone at a size we liked. That fussiness went on for some time and for us constituted a serious flaw in the user interface.
Note that Crystal Report Viewer is available in Free and Premium modes: Free which is fully Crystal Report Viewer and never expires, it includes all the File Managment and Tag editing tools which constitute the core of the program. Premium which adds to the main program CD ripping and File Crystal Report Viewer, as well as optimized performance and priority support.
OpenOffice must be uninstalled before Crystal Report Viewer is loaded, but that's a minor annoyance. Whereas Crystal Report Viewer, for example, is a Firefox fork Crystal Report Viewer for a particular kind of user, Crystal Report Viewer should appeal to anybody who loves OpenOffice but is looking for something that's leaner--but hardly meaner.
Editors' note: This is a Crystal Report Viewer of the trial version of Crystal Report Viewer for Mac 1.4.2.
